Product Implementation Manager

James Campbell

James oversees everything that falls under the realm of product! This includes: product testing, sourcing, ongoing training and education, knowledge management, and marketing. James was the first employee at SCW and has been with the company since 2013. At SCW he’s had various roles including : sales, technical support, and support management. He is also a passionate photographer and has created many of the company’s photos and videos.
In his free time, James is an avid sports fan with an extra passion for hockey. He enjoys traveling with his wife, photography, collecting vintage Macs, and other interests that would probably take some time to describe!

Q. What do you love the most about SCW? A: "I love that even as we grow, everyone’s input is valuable and taken into consideration and that we are open to new ideas and approaches. I also love that SCW fosters a culture where people can use their skillsets to help improve the company and grow their careers."

Sales Director

Benjamin Larue

Meet Ben, SCW's Director of Sales. His diverse background includes a stint playing D2 college lacross at Pfeiffer University as well as roles held at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and the Carolina Panthers! Ben brings a wealth of experience in customer service, client relations, and teamwork to the table. Currently specializing in commercial-grade IP surveillance solutions, Ben is dedicated to providing cutting-edge security solutions to businesses of all sizes.
With years of industry experience, Ben ensures that each client receives personalized attention and expert advice to meet their specific security needs.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two beloved puppies. Embracing the great outdoors, you'll often find Ben exploring the wilderness, whether it's mountain biking through rugged trails, embarking on scenic hikes, or enjoying a refreshing trail run.
With a deep appreciation for nature, a commitment to excellence in security solutions, and a background in collegiate athletics, Ben brings a unique blend of expertise, teamwork, and outdoor spirit to the team at SCW!

Q: What do you love the most about SCW?
A: "I love our approach to designing security solutions and then seeing the client realize that our approach actually gets them a system that solves their needs! Those ah-ha moments and seeing it click for the client is one of my favorite parts of SCW. The freedom to design systems specifically for their needs as opposed to selling some out of the box solution is what I love the most about SCW."

Technical Support Manager

Michael Bell

Meet Michael Bell, our beloved Support Manager! Michael started at SCW as a Tier 1 Support rep in August of 2016 and worked his way up to the Support Manager role. Michael takes pride in helping SCW live up to its reputation of being a "Support First" Company.
Prior to SCW, he has held many roles throughout his career. Michael has 15 years of great experience including: cellular sales and management, office management and experience as a top sales rep at Radio Shack.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys things like kayaking, theme parks, spending time with family and friends, yard work, video games and helping his elderly parents with tech problems.....although he may be a bit salty about that on occasion!

Q. What do you love the most about SCW?
A: "The people! They are the most kind, driven, knowledgeable and hard working group I have had the pleasure of working with."

Installation Services Director

Gil Illescas

Gil is SCW's Installation Services Director. He oversees installations and service required throughout the U.S.
In addition to helping manage various inter-departmental projects at SCW, Gil also plays a large role in oversight and management of our safety program and supports product development.
Gil has worked in the electronic security industry for over 25 years and has worked in many aspects of the industry which include: Installation, service, support, system design and project management to name a few.
Gil has certifications in several disciplines including IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Distributed Low Voltage/Data Cabling and Fiber Optic installation. He also holds various training and certifications in several leadership and project management programs.
Outside of work, Gil would tell you he's just an average mountain biker who loves sports of all kinds and heavy metal music. He has two Mini-Aussies that are needy and active but have him wrapped around his finger!


Q:What do you love the most about SCW?

A: I love the teamwork and constant collaboration that goes on within the company. Everyone seems to have a common goal for success and to help each other make the company better and more profitable, and that is an extremely comfortable feeling.

HR & Business Administration Manager

Chalmers Croft

Chalmers is SCW's HR & Business Administration Manager. He oversees all things HR including but not limited to: Compliance, Employee Relations, Payroll, Development, Total Rewards, HR Data, Culture, HRIS, Performance, and Staffing. Chalmers also has equal footing in the business administration world! He manages various business administrative needs for SCW such as payroll tax registrations, sales tax filings, A/R efforts, and much more!
Chalmers has held HR roles at Aramark, Under Armour, and now SCW. Chalmers is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in public relations and music. He additionally attended UNC Charlotte for graduate study in public administration. Chalmers is a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management)
In his down-time, Chalmers is a very active professional guitarist, a huge Nintendo fan, and loves hitting the gym!

Q. What do you love the most about SCW?
A: "I find so much value in working with a highly-collaborative team that truly values individual input, employee investment, and a very innovative approach to problem solving with the goal of creating wonderful experiences for our internal and external customers!.

Warehouse & Facilities Manager

Adam Stolzenberg

Adam is in charge of acquisition and fulfillment at SCW. He works with our manufacturing partners to make sure we stay in stock and ready to ship out your order as soon as you're ready to place it.
Adam has worked in purchasing and inventory management for over 10 years. He is a graduate of Catawba College with a BFA in Theatre Tech. Being the huge nerd he is, on the weekends, Adam is a professional DnD Dungeon Master. He also enjoys hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife and dog.

Q: What do you love the most about SCW?
A: I feel more valued as a member of the team than I have anywhere else. SCW takes great care of it's customers and employees.

Jason Milton

Jason Milton is currently the CTO at SCW.
Jason has a unique visionary approach to development and a relentless commitment to innovation. Jason leads SCW development efforts and is highly- skilled in developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance safety and security for businesses and communities alike.


Jason's journey in the tech world is marked by a series of strategic roles across various tech giants, where he honed his skills in cybersecurity, software development, and systems architecture. His expertise in leveraging technology to solve complex problems has been instrumental in helping him advance to CTO.

Jason believes that technology, at its best, simplifies and safeguards. Jason and the SCW development team are committed to refining user experiences, ensuring that the company’s software is intuitive, reliable, and inclusive.
For SCW, he is focused on reducing complexity in security technologies and improving their accessibility to individuals and businesses of any kind. SCW plans to expand their reach through innovative partnerships, furthering the development of AI and machine learning technologies to neutralize threats, and continuing to develop cutting edge technology solutions.

Chief Operating Officer

Micah Shearer

Micah is SCW’s COO/CFO and is responsible for overseeing all SCW business operations. Micah has been with SCW since 2016 and is passionate about driving the iterative process of developing standardized, repeatable processes that allow a company to scale.
Micah’s has masters in chinese history from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed low-voltage electrician in North Carolina. As a tech nerd, Micah loves finding new and creative ways to leverage low and no-code tools to increase business efficiency through cross platform automations.
Her “personal” hobbies include attempting to parent a small horde of children and sneaking away for some Latin dancing whenever possible"

Q. What do you love the most about SCW?A: I’ve had the pleasure of growing with SCW since 2016 and have loved being part of the maturation of a continuously creative and adaptable team that genuinely enjoys solving problems - both internally and externally.
