AI enhanced cameras feature onboard analytics that detect if it's a person or vehicle in your video. This is a huge leap from standard pixel based motion detection. AI enhanced cameras help prevent false positives from "noise" such as insects, shadows, trees, rain/snow, and more.

Different Triggers
The two main analytics used to detect people and vehicle are intrusion detection and cross line detection. With intrusion detection, you draw a zone on the screen and select parameters like time in the zone. For example, you may not be worried about someone walking by your storefront, but someone spending 5 seconds or more overnight is a concern. Cross line allows you to draw a virtual line across the screen, great for doors, vehicle entrances, and more. You can choose the direction that a person or vehicle needs to cross the line, giving you easy ability to tell when something entered or exited.

Q: Do the analytics cost?
A: No - they are built into the cameras and have no recurring/monthly fees to use them.
Q: Can it tell me color or vehicle?
A: Only the Commander camera supports color analytics.

How do I set it up?

A: Yes - you can choose to record based only on the analytics, 24/7, or standard pixel based motion detection.
Q: Does it detect specific people?
A: No - there is no facial or person recognition. The system can determine it's a person, but not who.
