Vehicle Re Identification In Development Planning
What it does:
The Vehicle Re-ID Model creates a database of images and then looks for visually similar vehicles and groups them in the user interface, so that you will be able to trace vehicles across camera views / events.
Unlike LPR, it does not require a specific angle of view and works even when the plate is not facing the camera.
Prerequisite:
Requires vehicle detection and its camera placement requirements.
Situationally Useful: Limitations in Large Environments:
Like all our models, Vehicle Re-Identification can be turned off or on.
In a typical office environment, Vehicle Re-ID can work very well, as the odds of multiple people owning the same make, model, and color vehicle are low. This is not the case with extremely large companies or cameras watching highways.
