Sharing an Incident with First Responder(s) during an Emergency
Survai's share experience was designed to quickly facilitate all first responders gaining insight into the visual description and behavior of a suspect.
Share links are designed to be as fricitonless as possible when second count. They do not require a survail login or any software to be installed to view the video. First responders can share them with other emergency management personel, as they arrive. Share moves a file from the hard drive on the survail box to the cloud and allows it to be played in a web-browser. This means that the "First Responder Viewport" page will continue to be able to play the video, even if the assailant cuts power or network access to your location or damages the survail hardware or cameras on location. Don't share anything that you would not want leaked to the media.

Share Modal Popup Menu
The share modal popup has two different options for event distribution: (1) you can create a link or (2) have survail email that link for you.
Option 1: Create URL
This is useful for sharing events via text message, slack, or via your email address. You can copy the link and share it however you please.
Option 2: emailed by Survail
You can also have survail email the link for you, by clicking the "Email" tab and adding a valid email.

You can filter by camera names. In addition to being able to select multiple cameras, you can also search by name and narrow down the results in the filter.
24 hour Expiration
